What exactly is it and how are the terms Dogging, Dogger etc. used??

And no, it's not a beasty thing so save your breath.

I think it's public sex, and the term is big in the UK.

Dogging is a British euphemism for engaging in sexual acts in a semi-public place (typically a secluded car park) or watching others doing so.

Dogging seems to have a group of people.

So is "dogging" watching a couple having sex in public or is it the term for the couple having the sex in public. Is a "dogger" the one watching or the one performing?

British Doggers is one of the sites I want to promote but I can't quite figure out the terminology. Given the premise of the site, I'd lean towards dogging as performing and dogger as the one performing. But some of the wording in the FHGs etc. don't seem to follow that 100%.
