Domain Parking- Any Advice?
 

Hey All-

I've never really done any domain parking, I've always redirected my domains to various sites or programs, but I've got a few that I think would do better going to a parked page.

I'm wondering if anyone has any tips they could offer me- what site do you think is the best to use for parking adult domains?

I saw someone pumping urbandata.com on another board, looks OK, but I just wanted to hear some other opinions.

Any other advice is also greatly appreciated

I would forward or put a webcam or dating banner up. Why not? Why would you just wanna park? Don't most registrars offer this service though?

urbandata.com seems a place to sell or park a domain. I don't think they offer registration services?

I have 2 things to say..

1.. it's a sad state isn't it, when a parked page can earn more than sending it to a decent sponsor? ..

Yeah I hear you, it is a sad state.. but I just wanted to give it a try.

I've heard people rave about it, didnt really see how it would be better than sending it to a targeted destination site/program, but figured I'd give it a spin and see what happens

Unless the domains are getting a lot of type-ins or SE "trails" parking won't make much at all. Anyhow, I am happy w/ sedo.com

Processors making it harder for sponsors to convert a surfer? Easier for them to monetize the typein traffic at a parking service? Maybe there's a middle ground. Niche review sites or similiar.

I dont know, but if sponsors dont do something, they will soon be buying typein traffic from the search engines instead of getting it direct.
