With win98...
When I open a folder all my icon's for my htm's are a mouse...
This morning they had a yahoo one...
yesterday they had little computer with an Mag. glass... which is one of FTP program icon's.... I have never seen this...

your comp. is overloaded, reboot and you'll be fine for a while, until it gets overloaded again :)

about the only permanent solution I've found for this is

Why are you still using Win98 get yourself win2k or XP and it should never happen again. In case this is a virus get yourself Norton anti virus and try to kill this sucker .
If none of the above will work than there is only one sollution left :

I still use Win98 because I like it.
I've got a Puter with 2k pro... I like Wi98.

And I do NOT have any Virus...
I have Norton Anti Virus.
I have AVG anti Virus.
I Have McAfee Anti Virus.
and another on I can't spell... the

And am not going to format any C;

I rebooted and the icon's went back to there Normal what ever..

but I've got 16+ gigs left on that drive
