last year i was scammed out of a reasonably large sum of money (enough to make me post this) by someone looking to go under a prepaid contract. I followed the usual guidelines, tested his traffic for a good chunk of time, waited for profitability numbers on his traffic and it all looked fine. We were doing a good chunk of joins and after the last payment he decided to book it with the payment and the traffic.

He got in touch with me after some time and explained to me that he actually was brokering out the traffic for someone else and he got fucked. Which earned him some respect. But now he's comin back to me looking for more deals. So this time arround i want to warn all the big or small program owners and affiliate managers that work with prepaid contracts, keep an eye out for this guy and lets get rid of one more scammer in the industry.

The drama of prepaid.

Every now and then you come across some guys that you never heard of with supposedly great traffic and massive volume that insist on being prepaid multiples of 10k. When I reply that we can pay at the end of each day (daily) per wire or direct deposit for high volume affiliates ... instead of prepaying ... I got no more replies from 9 out of 10 guys. Helps to weed out potential scammers - still gotta be careful though. Just my :2 cents:
