MPA3 have improved their product a lot and are offering a really good software.

The only problem is that they had a "shave" feature in MPA2. They always acted like they did nothing wrong except listen to the industry, and never apologized to the webmasters that got shaved before of that. Even to this day they don't seem to consider this as a mistake... so as an affiliate, if I had 2 equal products, I would stay away from the software that once had shady practices in it's earlier versions.

A program is only as honest as the guy running it. Nats MPA3 or any other backend can be customized to do whatever the OWNER wants it to do.

I personally was tired of feeling like I was being shaved so I'm launching my own program. After talking with a lot of people, trying to make a decision about which backend to use we opted for MPA3.

"... after you're done reading the 1,000 page user manual, you've earned the right to spend 50% of your time on the phone with support and the other 50% on webmaster BBSes commiserating. No thanks! I will leave it for you to discover how EASY, how PAINLESS it is to set up your affiliate site on MPA3 and your paysites on MAS. Suffice it to say, it's so easy a noob could do it... more

Support is key

Both are probably pretty good. But the real question is whose got your back. MPA has consistently been there for us. Can't say with NATS. Thats for the NATSters to say.

Personally we would not have been able to get our Dynamic Gallery Builder done in NATS based on what I have heard about custom development. The unparalled support we got from Mansion was critical to launching this new feature.

Yep and for that reason I would choose NATS if possible too. Both Im sure can be shaved, but the MPA2 shaving feature built in isnt something I just forget.

dude, its all about NATS!

wow this looks better!!! i've never seen this feature to some sponsors using mpa3.. some sucks though.. but this one looks better. but personally i still love nats. its user friendly and very easy to navigate.. but i might be wrong. i should check out some sponsors using mpa3. maybe it just depends on the sponsor and how the sponsor concerned with their affiliates so they keep on putting new features and stuff. userfriendly and easy to navigate is very good esp. for the noobs :)

There is a reason many of the newest medium/bigger programs are running NATS or other existing solid programs moving to NATS. Its just the best solution on the market and very well liked & respected by affilates. Super stable, scalable and extremely flexible to use & setup. With more customizations and options than you can poke a stick at. Has the support of a growing base of new tools and addons (Nats team are always adding features) and works with almost any biller you can name.

The Nats support is top notch, couldn't ask for much better.

Wildcash.com runs on NATS and all our future programs we launch (soon) will too.

Has Wildcash always been on NATS?

I'd really be interested in hearing from a sponsor that switched between NATS and MPA. That would give us a more objective opinion.

Nookster 07-07-2006 12:18 AM

As an affiliate I always choose NATS over MPA. Also, I've coded some features for a NATS back end and have to admit it's really easy to use from a PHP programmer stand point. :2 cents:

One last thing before I go to bed
After contacting Mansion (MPA) through the contact form. Oystein contacted me on ICQ within 2 hours. By the next day we had several conversations and agreed on a solution.

I've had a great experience so far with Mansion.

No Wildcash.com used MPA2 to start back in 2003 and thankfully moved to NATS after growing tired of the inflexible MPA2 system and very unstable build we were on. This was just after MPA3 launched. We didn't trust that they fixed half the issues it had so we moved to NATS. And have been very happy NATS customers ever since.

Here's some info from a traffic perspective.

With pushing traffic, I make more sales with MPA programs plain and simple. Always have. Whenever a program switches to NATs that i'm sending traffic to, my sales drop and never fully recover. I have no idea why this is and have given up trying to figure out/understand it.

Now, from a program owners perspective, even though i personally make more sales pushing traffic to MPA programs, we'll probably end up using NAT's....because affiliates might prefer it over MPA in the long term. We still haven't decided though.

So overall in regards to traffic, i'd rather push MPA programs......numbers don't lie.
