has anyone here been to PR and can give advice on where to stay and visit??
i'd like to take a trip there, i was thinking maybe San Juan? i'd like to see some historical stuff, i'd like to spend some time on the beach, and i'd like to be able to go out and enjoy the night life at a club suggestions ?? |

I live an hour out of san juan...Go to San juan and get a hotel in the isla verde or condado area..For historical stuff, you can visit old san juan and there are a few beaches around...nightlife is the best in san juan with ponce second. There's a nice beach on avenue 26 going towards Loiza.. with public parking...Or you can go close to where i live and go to Luquillo where you have the hotel Conquistador, one of the most popular beaches (luquillo beach) and the entrance to the rainforest is there where you can get to the waterfalls.

I went there a year or so ago.. and stayed at the Ritz Carlton.. its very close to the airport.. but has its own private beach... and about a ten minute cab ride to downtown, old forts.. and historical San Juan... But about a 45 min to an hour out to the rain forests.. snorkeling etc..
if I were to go back i'd prolly stay out at the Wyndham el conquistador.. (I'm pretty sure that is the name) its right next to the rain forrest, snorkeling.. etc... and i'm more into that kind of stuff when on beach vacations... a must do is the "biolumenescence nighttime kayaking" tour through the mangroves... and an excellent restaurant downtown located in a museum called "Pikayo" enjoy yourself.. |
the parrot club is a good meal too

I just moved to the states from PR. If you're into the whole tourist thing stay in the Condado area. Have a good time. Go check out the island of Culebra too. You can hop on a boat or take a plane. The people in the hotel can give you the info you need.

PR got the hottest women, ull have fun !

I have never been there, But I imagine that is it somewhat like Cuba. Should be plenty to see.
