that settles that.

Doctor Dre 07-06-2006 07:17 AM

Blackberries are more wildspread. Personally I like the sidekick better.

ezrydn 07-06-2006 07:19 AM

Palm Treo 650. The only way to go. And apps galore all over the net, most are either free or a free trial to see if you like it. Change SIMS when you change borders. Use a calling card. You name it.

Chris 07-06-2006 07:20 AM

i have a sidekick2
it is more "fun" than anything
i am getting a crackberry

BoyAlley 07-06-2006 07:20 AM

blackberry without a doubt.

DutchTeenCash 07-06-2006 07:21 AM

I checked the youtube vids on the SK3

Pure coincedence : I came across a google link for the HTC, company who makes and delivers the MDAs to TMobile. Fuckers are gonna discontinue ANY support, since theyre sick n tired of cobranded products.

In other words NO MDA for me as long as its not clear whats up with that.

Oh and the SK3 keys are crap, read it many times, its not here yet but ill check it out for sure.

OldSchoolJim 07-06-2006 08:46 AM

I had the sidekick2 forever...never thought i would change...but i just got the new tmobile MDA...and it rocks....wifi and regular...regular wireless is about dsl speed....the only thing i do not like about it is you do not get the email addy you get with the sidecick...but you can even subscribe to television broadcasts from about 12 channels...streaming live....:thumbsup

Pornwolf 07-06-2006 09:02 AM

Treo.

But if not that the get the MDA.

KrisKross 07-06-2006 06:49 PM

Is the SK3 anywhere near release?

The MDA is sexy. I want one of those.

Juicy, this is interesting. what sort of upload/download speeds are you seeing?

CamsLord 07-06-2006 07:36 PM

Treo 700 :2 cents:

Sosa 07-06-2006 07:37 PM

I want the new Treo but fucking Alltel doesn't offer it in this area. I really don't want to pay for a older model but I just might have to do it.

Cingular uses GPRS/EDGE. Theoretical maxium downstream speed is 56 kbps for GPRS and 384 kbps for EDGE. But EDGE coverage is limited.

FrankWhite 07-06-2006 07:42 PM

t-mobil SUX

Young 07-06-2006 07:44 PM

I have a blackberry 7200 series. Looking to jump ship over to Cingular and picking up a 8700. Boy has one and it is smoooooooooooooth.

I can't see myself using a sidekick. too gimicky.

rants 07-20-2006 05:15 PM

Does anyone have the Sidekick3 yet? How do you like it? I am one of those people that can't make up my mind and it takes me forever to decide on something.

Isn't the internet speed on Sidekick slower because it's EDGE and EVDO on Sprint pcs is supposed to be faster??

The screenshots look nice for the new Sidekick

Whats better, Sidekick, Crackberry or mda?

I am mainly into browsing, I need fast internet browsing on my phone so I can surf and check stats.

Palm 700p will destroy everything mentioned with EDVO. Add Chatter as your e-mail client if your mail host provides IMAP with IDLE support and you have the same push e-mail as a blackberry but with a assload more free apps for it.

It's in my will that my Treo's are put in the ground with me when I die and my living will states that whatever current treo is to me with me no matter what state of health I'm in.

divinity 07-20-2006 07:37 PM

I've got a Sidekick 3, I like it. Would love if it could be used as a modem, but I get by without it as I can get email, web, and ssh on the device. that covers most of my needs

more info on the sidekick 3 on this site
