Did I waste 20 bucks buying "The Hills Have Eyes" remake?
 

Loved the original, haven't had the time to watch this one yet.

nope..saw it a week ago..loved it...Never saw the original but i know that they changed some things to make it more up to date.

I heard that "Jupiter" isnt nearly as cool in the new one. I like the old guy, even though he's the ugliest human being ever to be born.

alright movie not too bad

dude, it fucking sucks....my wife and I sat down to watch it and stopped it 30 minutes in

if you like that type of movie, then it might be all right though....but I am just not into the main cast of characters dying within the first 45 mimutes, and the entire movie is completely about how much blood they can show.

don't get me wrong, I love a good gross out flick, Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a masterpiece, but Hills only wishes it could achieve the level of gross outness that other gory movies have gotten

Gore wasnt really Cravens intention with the first one, more like scaring the shit out of the audience, which it did. For its time it was WAY fucking out of hand.

IMHO this prolly isnt meant to be a shocker to anyone, more of an homage to the genre.

I'll watch it and see.

If you want to see a real stinker from Wes Craven, watch The Last House On The Left. Possibly the worst movie ever made.

once at the theater and once on dvd.

at the beginning when a guy is flung around by a pike in his back is totally wicked and it just gets better from there!

the movie is awesome and must see if you like horror :thumbsup

So it's sheer coincidence you ask about probably the only movie which has been mentioned here 3 or 4 times in the past couple of weeks? Jeez. It's bad enough when there isn't anything remotely original or entertaining in your posts... now you can't even be bothered to come up with original topics?

It was disappointing, figured with all the hype and the "unrated" label that the video might be pretty good. At the very least I expected the plot to be weak but be scary, it wasn't even that.

i need to see it too if that is so good.
