mike503 06-03-2002 10:38 PM

paul van dyk.

trance has been known to be a pretty good programming/nerd genre to "get into it" when hacking away at the computer for long hours.

Kat - Fast 06-03-2002 10:39 PM

Loud music works for me :thumbsup

Tylo 06-03-2002 10:41 PM

Anarchy in the U.K. by the Sex Pistols. Really loud. Has the added advantage of waking up my asshole neighbours.

sinmaster 06-03-2002 10:47 PM

AC/DC and/or KISS

raymo 06-03-2002 10:51 PM

good ambient shit: Massive Attack...[Mezzanine], Portishead...[Dummy & PNYC] and a bit The Prodigy in the mix is always good, and can't forget Vast...[Visual Audio Sens...]

Toxicity always gets me up to speed though. Best playing it on MP3 since it can be pumped up to the max and not skip. :o)))

Hmm...oh and another Paul... Paul Mac. He's an Aussie instrumentalist that often features grrrl vocalists.

Pink Floyd and the all mighty "The Doors"

"This is the end, beautiful friend.
It hurts to set you free,
But you'll never follow me.
The end of laughter and soft lies.
The end of nights we tried to die.
This is the... end."

can't listen to music when i'm working cause i get too caught up in the tunes. i put the boob tube on. it's my idea of white noise.

phogirl69 06-03-2002 11:04 PM

Happy house music, or dance music like Kylie Minogue and
freestyle mixes... I also like to bump up the radio while I'm working.... I dig some hip hop too while I'm working......
Right now I like Nellie's "It's getting hot in here, I wanna take my clothes off...." something like that.

Living For Today 06-03-2002 11:06 PM

Work music.

SexyMarie 06-04-2002 02:44 AM

Any good trance/progressive music works for me as 'background' music for work.
And newest Oakenfold album kicks ass!

But I really love to listen to Chris Moyles shows on BBC Radio 1 here in Europe :)

chodadog 06-04-2002 02:49 AM
