Lewis is the CLEAR favorite.
But like most of you I too am living in the past and will cheer and side with Iron Mike.

He's washed up, but fuck, ya cant help but want to see flashes of the old Iron Mike in this era of BORING heavyweight boxing,

Tyson shouldn't even have a license to box. But, since he does, I expect Lewis to scare him early and win through attrition.

Tyson wins in the 2nd rock by knock-out, 3 hours later he gets arrested for punching a waitress at a Memphis 24/7 diner.

He gets bailed out an hour later & makes several discriminatory comments about white people. He then assaults a reporter, humps another reporter, realizes that he is not a man, but in fact a primative beast & returns to the forest from whence he came.

What I really hope for is two great fighters at the top of their game.

Lewis at the top of his game will pound the Tyson I've seen in his last half dozen bouts, that said Lewis has gotten a wake up or two.

I expect, however, Lewis will retire after this bout therefore he's been training harder than ever to go out obviously on top.

So...I say Lewis in three. By knockout, probably a right jab.

The first round will be a stunnah though, Iron Mike is going to try and end it right there.

It would be nice to see Tyson beat the living shit out of Lewis. Although I don't see that happening. Lewis has a longer reach, taller and is a more skilled fighter. Tyson will have to over power Lewis to win and I just don't see that happening. and my :2 cents: is for free!

Lewis will outbox Tyson and frustrate him. Tyson will wear himself out and either get disqualified for some ugly desperate shit or get knocked out in the 8th.

tyson knocks out lewis with a body shot.

lewis needs to be aggressive, but thats a double edge sword. you open up too much in the first round and tyson will knock you out. tyson may not be anywhere near the fighter he was 15 years ago, but he can still hit.

I have already posted my input but I will add to it.

The only chance Tyson has of winning the fight is to knock Lewis out. If it goes the distance Lewis wins.

The only chance Tyson has to knock Lewis out is to get inside of Lewis's defense. Tyson will use his lunging/charging tactic to do this. Lest anyone forget; Lewis has knock out power himself (in both hands), so this is a dangerous tactic for Tyson.

Lewis needs to box and use his long left jab to keep Tyson at range and don't worry himself about taking Tyson out (unless the opportunity presents itself).

I predict that if the fight goes for four or five rounds Tyson will become frustrated that Lewis is outboxing him and will do something stupid or crazy and will be disqualified.

Bottom line the only chance for Tyson to knock out Lewis is to get a lucky solid punch in on Lewis which, if Lewis can't weather it, will be the beginning of the end.

if they can get tyson to hit lewis' body for a few rounds, it could give tyson a great chance to knock lewis out between rounds 4-8.

but the way tyson has been fighting lately, hard to say if it will happen.

Mike have difficulties with fighters moving toward him, not the inverse. That's what Hollyfield did in their fights, and Douglas (Tyson's 1st defeat).

Problem is that Lennox Lewis is a fag and will go backward like he did vs Tua.

i don't consider douglas a defeat. tyson had him knocked out, even if he did fight a shitty fight.

i think lewis is a smart fighter, and he will be going forward against tyson. i didn't see the tua fight. but if he was goin backwards, he musta been a bit scared of his punching power. if he's a bit scared of tyson and doesn't go after him he'll be layed out in no time.

who was a better jabber? i think the biggest problem for tyson is he's rusty. he's fought what 18 rounds in the last 5 years? he's really only had one big test which was against holyfield and he boxed like shit.

tyson has the talent to beat lewis. even if he's not as fast as before.
