Don't try to compare North Korea with Arabs, because Korea has a very big and powerful army. Now it has the missiles as well. Course weak and not releable so far, but in future..................

this will probably stabilize the world more, kind of like balancing out power. the cold war was probably the safest time in the history of the world because it produced a balance of power in the world by having 2 superpowers.

One day, North Korea will collpase and we'll all be wondering what the fuss was about. It will disappear just like East Germany did.

But the cold war involved two superpowers that could easily annihilate one another with massive nuke arsenals. In this case, we're talking about the tail trying to wag the dog.

The key will be 'pre-emptive strike'. If north Korea launches an attack on North America (highly unlikely) - the U.S. will respond by annihilating the fuckers. The U.S. (or Canada) might sustain a few hits - IF the Koreans figure out how to actually make their missiles work...but they'll pay dearly for their stupidity.

I think its all bluff and bravado. The world is full of a lot of stupid people, but I can't believe they'd be THAT stupid to take on the United States.

With 6 Billion people living in a couple hundred countries, many run by real whacko's, corrupt and power mongering governments and leaders, an expanding divergency of haves and have nots, I think the world will always be on a fragile balance where anything can happen at any time to upset the equilibrium.

We are living in technologically fantastic but still worrisome political times.

You are right SK, NK is a non factor and isnt going to do anything to anyone anytime soon, which is why they did the tests to try and be relevant to the world. NK can stabilize the region though, kind of like in the middle east how you have israel sabillizing the region with their conflicts with the arab countries. without israel in the middle east that part on the world would be very dangerous

Yeah, that country has already nuked Japan once back in the 40's, you should have seen it, something like 200,000 civilians wiped out in an instant. We have to stop them now before they bomb again! They are the only country in this world that has ever used nukes on another nation!
