Waiting In On Something Getting Delivered Sucks
 

I'm waiting on a new bed i ordered arriving today. The letter they sent me says they would arrive between 7:30am, and 8pm.

Wtf kind of time is that ? Can't they never narrow it down to a couple of hours at least.

I just know that if i go for a shit, or pop out to get something to eat, the asshats will arrive... :mad:

I had to wait around for a guy to come and fit a new gas meter yesterday. Was told they were coming between 8am and 1pm. Didn't come at all. Rang them at 1pm and they said they had no record of the appointment.

Yeah I fucking hate that too... or when the TV guy gotta come to fix something.

I hate it when Argos or something gives you like a 10 hour delivery window. You can bet it won't happen in the first hour of that window.

I tell them I'm a busy person and can't afford to fuck around all day waiting on something being delivered. They usually tell me thats fine and they'll have one of their guys call me 30 minutes before they arrive at my house. I'm never more than 30 minutes away anyway

Works great. You should try it, remember you are the customer, don't take shit afterall its your money which keeps them in a job.

furniture deliveries are the worst. They don't give a fuck about your life and what you have going on...they want you to stop everything you're doing and wait for their regal asses to get there whenever they damn well please.

The phone,cable and satellite companies aren't much better...they'll usually give you a 6-hour window or so on when you'll be lucky enough for them to appear :mad: :mad:
