Definitely a good choice for some.

I'd say don't make any plans and just stay on South Beach. You'll find something to do very quickly. Wet Willies is a must in the mid afternoon to begin finding your way around the beach.

wet willys is not so good anymore especially in the summer....much better scene at clevlander, get the Miami Vice drink. 2 or 3 and ur in happyland...

instead of heading south to miami, try a little north to fort lauderdale

the Himmarshee bar district rocks, and you can walk around the streets till 4am with open containers and live bands everywhere

another major winner is the Hard Rock Casino - the clubs out the back are fucking awesome and better than the overpriced and over hyped south beach clubs

also, rent a car and go to Key West, it is worth the 3 hr. drive

the Mansion right by there rocks too. But the best time is just across the street is a Greek restaurant that blasts the techno and everyone dances on the tables. Was wild.

This place is neat as shit. First went there in the 70's on a field trip.
