What's the best software to create/cut wmv trailers?

windows movie maker is simple and does a great job :thumbsup

if you're not looking to do anything too advanced, you'll find the two cheaper versions of vegas have good results, lots of easy-to-apply effects and fades, does watermarking and is very easy to add graphics to videos.
