New Yorkers are all ASSHOLES .............
I mean all the 5 boroughs , evrything past the tappan zee i consider almost canada....
Just at supermarket.... What happened to "Excuse me" "Thank You" and so on..? Man we are all asswipes , its true..... |
It's true, People for the most part don't have manners. I always say thank you and please. It's how I was raised but the last 10 years especially things have gone to shit.
Funny, I thought New Yorkers had been unfairly stereotyped that way forever. Coming from a New Yorker I guess I was wrong.
hehe funy you say that
I met 1 guy who knows you in person and I asked him about you - he just said "typical Newyorker " |
yeah, but if it weren't for our city, the USA would be a third world nation.
We really needed a thread to state the obvious? New Yorkers, yeah, so...we're assholes and damn proud of it. Want a "thank you" or an "excuse me" go to one of the boring states where the highlight of the day is having a minimum waged worker say "thank you for shopping with us"...pfft...screw that.
I've lived in other areas for a bit. The thank you, excuse me, politeness gets on my nerves after a few days and I can't wait to get back to rude NY. (insert Dennis Leary singing the asshole song right here) |
Did you know that Long Island is the largest island in the Continental USA....
Just read it on the inside of the cap for my Snapple Real Fact #333 :glugglug |

A good bit of New Yorkers are all stuck up
Fuck you!
I just got back from 5 days in Manhatten, what a great fucking city. Yeah people are rude and pushy, seems like it's the norm there.
I love NYC and Im always treated very well when I'm there. People arent overly friendly on the street or whatever I guess, but I don't encounter ay higher percentage of rude people than I have anywhere else in the US.
I think London was overall the rudest city I've been to, but even there, I was treated well by the majority. |
It's funny, but the last time we were in NYC (4th of July last year) people were as nice as they could be.
Haha, other then getting into a with with a bum over a dollar I found NYC to be quite pleasant... it's New Jersey that pissed me off.
well your talking about most of the world now...:(

I always try to be polite: excuse me, please, thank you, and your welcome are words I use a lot. |
What the fuck are you talking about? Fuck youz ya goomba.
Montreal drivers are assholes too ... try driving downtown mtl... you gotta cut everybody.
Move Bitch!
Juicy's right on with this. It's been my first hand experience in New York also. No civility among people at all... not the slightest common courtesies are afforded.
NYC is fine. busy city with lots of different people, many are just trying to make it there. wanna see rude people, get on the bus or subway in Moscow during rush hours. apples and oranges.
