There's just as many Northerners that hate indiscriminantly based on color, religion, sex, or any other thing they can sink their teeth into. The KKK is growing in popularity in New York, there's skinheads and neo-nazi's present in every major city in America. If you knew a little more about the civil war, you would realize some of the factors that helped the North win.
Such as: Populations Union - 20,700,000 Confederacy - 9,100,000 The Union had the steel plants, and fatories that produced the uniforms and shoes. The Confederacy has the cotton and the food, and corn and items like that. and since you think that the North is so much better, explain this. The Confederacy victory at Savine Pass, Texas. Capt. Richard W. Dowling, defending with 43 men and six cannon, drove off a Federal force of 15.000 men attempting to land. Capt. Dowling never lost a man! And there are many other things like this. |
