Why do people make such a big deal out of racism?
 

it simply doesnt make sense to me, i am sorry but the entire human race is not all the same,

take a look at russians, englishmen, chinese, and jamaicans.

are you going to tell me they are all the same?

it is fucking ridiculous, i have ALOT of asian friends, and 2 black friends, and to me or them race does not matter but we do not try to pretend like we are anything the same.

it is DIFFERENCES that make the human race so great, i view all people around the world as EQUAL, but as racially being the same we are not EQUAL.

the people that bring up race as an argument i constantly laugh at, they seem to be the people who do not have friends of many different races, i have been made fun of by my "colored" <i do not like that word and english friends for being ukrainian all the time,

maybe instead of constantly worrying about racism people should look into why people are racist then maybe explore how you can change their thoughts, or MAYBE JUST MAYBE, accept racism and not take it so personally and this world would be a better place, i am sorry racism will always exist.

It's one of those things that doesn't bother you until you become the victim of it yourself.

They can hate all they want, just keep it to themselves..

i think nowadays even the littlest race issue get blown way out proportion.

o please do not even go there, EVERYONE has been a victim of racism, am i going to sit back and cry? there is so much other shit to worry about in this world, if people would learn to grow a little back the world would be a much better place.

I'm not racist by any stretch of the imagination but I'm proud to be white. If I hate you it's because of your personallity/behaviour not your color.

Racism exists because people can't ACCEPT those differences that you mention, for whatever reason. I think very few actually have the delusion that all races are the same.

People want to be treated with the same respect and have the same rights as others, as well they should. Just because someone is different, doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed that respect and those rights.

i am also tired of how people classify "white people" and how "white people" have it easier or some shit.

walk around the city with a giant Slavic accent and see if you get the same respect as someone who speaks perfect english.

it happens with everyone and i find in north america especially it is like the "white man" is made out to be the only racist type.

Racism is hating a whole group of people *because* they are different.

Racially, differences *can* be good. Culturally, differences *can* be bad.

racism exists for the same reason any living organism on this planet with a brain favors associating with its own kind. like people strongly favor like people. they tend to reject different people. its basic biology and a behavior that has been learned to be an effective and generally correct behavior over the 10,000,000 years or so that people have been on the planet.
