The gov scare tactics are starting to work on you ;)

Whilst I hate wars etc - i'd really like to see if N. Korea is dumb enough to do this. It would essentially mean that N. Korea would become one enormous car park.
How many nukes do the states have? |
don't be scared. I bet Iran is also scared at this time...
|
It's coming, baby :)!
|
The world is so fucked. :( this is the peak of our current civilisation... now for the fall.

:ak47: :BangBang:
|
now it kinda makes me think the missile sitting on their pad over there is a bomb aimed at us.
i sure hope our government has the knowledge to truly know whats going on in north korea. |
Wild times are upon us for sure:(

wild times indeed

I'm not so worried about Iran, but North Korea is a wild card. He likes to talk a lot of smack, but he is just insane enough to launch a nuke just to show the world he is not bluffing.
All of a sudden we have these nuclear threats again. Could it be possible that we don't have them and we are being fed this info in preparation to lose a few more freedoms in the name of national security or the war on terror? I mean, what could be worse that a country in the Axis Of Evil threatening Nuclear war? But I don't think the USA would strike first on them anyway just because we know he is a nut job and a loose cannon. Call me crazy but I don't trust anyone, including my own government. |

Are you forgetting the nut job loose cannon that sits in the white house? |
Why ya scared, Nick -- ain't you in Manila or the Netherlands? 2hp |

no jokes, nuts with nukes are frightening. what i want to know from that cnn brief is, what exactly is a light payload? enough to take out a town / city or just enough to deliver radiation poisioning.
|
i wonder if the war will really start, will you all Americans be mobilized?

I believe seattle is the only city that N korea has the ability to hit at this point...oh wait a minute
|
quick! hide under your desk! :1orglaugh
|
thank god the US attacked iraq...whew
|
where's the fucking problem? simply not attack north korea...
|

That was the problem to start with - the Axis of Evil dialog and threats of pre-emptive strikes. So far it worked well - and both NK and Iran doing what they think may be in their best interests under these circumstances. Who knows, but smell there is far less chance of either NK or Iran even seriously considering lauching any missiles - there is no point unless they went on a suicide mission. BUT... can see more chance of a smartass decision coming from elsewhere in a "police action". The world is now a much safer place and the "Axis of Evil" rhetoric worked well:) |

It's like most things. No use to worry about them because worrying doesn't get shit done. 99% of what's put in front of you is meant to scare you and direct your thoughts and actions. The true people in power know EXACTLY how to keep you in line, fear and diversion. And it looks like it's working. Aren't you in Manilla anyways Nick? ... and I would guess your guy's servers aren't in the US, but I could be wrong. |
