Stem Cells Help In The Battle Against AIDS

http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releas...-urd062806.php

Wow! I know you guys are sick of me posting this stem cell stuff but it's the biggest science story since the invention of the wheel.

In this report it's found out that scientists can actually grow new T Cells from stem cells! That's a major step toward findind a treatment and maybe a cure for AIDS.

If science can whip AIDS that will be a major break for humanity. Soon that sourge of a disease will meet it's match.

Pretty soon we'll all be jacking into computers, and living till we're 200 without major cancers etc... nice

Stamcell is way overhyped. Any scientest or researcher that is running out of funds claims to be on the edge of a stamcel-breaktrough in one area or another. True, stamcell might be the way of the future but there is loooooooooong way to go.

MaddCaz 07-03-2006 06:01 PM

yea its gonna come correct real soon

Get the fuck outta here!

Are you anywhere near the latest news? Maybe a looooong way to go in the U.S. with the assholes we have in office and their ignorance and religious nonsense but to the rest of humanity it's producing miracles every day.

Yeah, we'll live 100s maybe 1000s of years old but that squashes the social security system. It figures the government would rather unleash the secrets of immortality than to have to pay us social security.

Yeah but the next generation won't survive because of the surpopulation

not long ago i read a big article about the stemcells where it was said that the effect of the cells is not predictable and may help you as well as damage and lead to cancer.

NOPE. that debate is long over. You can read all the stem cell news you want at www.sciencedaily.com

So far the stem cell treatments have done what they normally do. What stem cell treatments do is nothing different than what stem cells normally do. Difference is we grow more of them and place them where 'we' want them. The mystery is why doesn't the mind and body do this on it's own. The capabilities are highly there and we do use our own stem cells to do repair on a second to second basis our entire lives. For some reason we can't control or won't control it to do the miracles we see. Some people are however to do it. The bottom line is that now we're doing miracles on a daily basis and the future's so bright you gotta wear shades.

so the point is that we have to use it correctly. Because i know that method of making the face look younger that doctors used without pathent, lead to opposite results. So doctors couldn't use it correctly.

Stem cells are some fucking crazy shit, I'm 100% in favor of the research, but too bad that this country just keeps moving backwards.

That shit's about to end real quick buddy boy. This month the U.S. Senate brings the issue to the floor. I just may be there to witness this along with some experts in stem cell research I've come to know.

Every freakin' day there's a new breakthrough and it's scary. It's like computer technology in the 90s. Every other day there was a new discovery.

I seriously believe within a year we'll see a cure for diabetes, heart diseases, paralysis, multiple sclerosis, certain types of blindness, alzheimers, parkinsons just to name a few.

E$_manager 07-04-2006 06:55 AM

i hope we will see it ...

What a great thing that would be shame it will take so long

It ain't gonna take so long. Reason being there are so many labs around the world working on the same problem and aren't under the mafia like control of our medical industry the cures will come a heckuva lot faster than if we had to depend on our own doctors to figure shit out.
