Have you ever made a Promise and never Delivered?
 

Every once in a while i drop the ball but its very rare and I always make up for it.

How many times have you let someone down or been let down?

It's rare but when it does its normally because It just slipped my mind.

I get let down by promises all the time:(

I have before and as soon as i remember i forgot I try to make it up right away

I've let down a few people a few times.. it happens sometimes but not too often. But usally if I can't complete a task I make sure to get the most done I can then refer to someone who can do it or offer a soultion from a 3rd party.

Twice: It went something along the lines of . . . to have and to hold, from this day forward, till death do we part.

I should have known better.

I am very careful on making promises but do express that I will do my best to complete whatever is required. The only promises to date are the ones I gave my wife on our wedding day. One of the few I have made is to myself, I wanted to grow old with few regrets.

I have grown up with the old fashion way that 'your word is your bond'.. you may loose everything in life, but do not throw away your integrity and good name...I take it very seriously.

not intentionally (at least none that i remember).

i've forgotten things or get too wrapped up in stuff and lag on stuff. its the absolute nature of this biz. promises are different, but idly saying to someone that you'll try their program and then forget to sign up is a little diff. a promise is something i'd make if something had to get done or something bad would happen.

unfortunately, yes... i think i have learned to not take on more things than i know i can handle since...

I promised my ex to take her out to dinner on her birthday.. She gave me a bichin time about it, saying I wouldn't keep my promise.. I picked her up and we went out to a resturant area.. We didn't book any reservations so we planned for 3-4 different resturants.. The thing was, everything was packed.. we couldn't get a table anywere.. So I drove her home, made her some fried mushroom toasts and a glas of wine..

After a month she told me I should take her to dinner like I promised.. I said I did, but she didn't think it was enough.. Goddamn, I made the bitch fried mushroom!! AND bought her a bottle of wine!

I feel I kept my promise, but she don't.. so if you ever her anyone saying I don't keep what I promise, that's why! ^^
