Would you be willing to finance or wager a fight between Kimbo and an UFC fighter?
 

I'd like to see a street fight between Kimbo and a current UFC fighter of about the same size as Kimbo.

From what I hear, it will only cost about $10,000US to get Kimbo to do the fight, and I'm willing to put up $1,000 to help finance it and bet in favour of UFC fighter.

However, I'd like it to be a fair match and have a guy like Anthony referee the match to make sure none of Kimbo's patsies intervene.

Who else is willing to finance the match or/and bet on it?

I'm even willing to finance more money if it happen in Montreal.

We would be willing to sponsor it and throw in some money.

Kimbo already fought a UFC fighter. Sean Gannon. Kimbo lost after he couldn't get up after fighting for about 10 minutes.

Most UFC fighters will choke Kimbo out in less then 5 minutes.

Sean Gannon who beat Kimbo, got beat by Hinkle, who in turn got choked the fuck out by a Jeff Monson who is one of the premiere fighters of the school I train at, American Top Team.

Funny video he had to get little john to keep him from getting his ass beat down.

A top flight UFC fighter with good ground skills would have put him on ground and tapped/choked kimbo out in minutes.

I don't think Kimbo would go into a submission fight

I'm not as picky, I'd take any MMA guy of the same size as Kimbo who regularly fights in UFC.

The funny thing is, that most of the fighters not under contract in the UFC, get paid 2k to fight, and another 2k to win.

I would rather see kimbo make more money and knock people out in UFC, he has the skillz, power and absulutely the balls to do it,

Judging from that big SUV he drives around with, he must be doing fine financially, maybe better than most lower card UFC fighters. IMO, his niche is Streetfighting not UFC, but I still like to see him fight UFC fighters in streetfights:winkwink:

Last time I talked to Kimbo, he told me he was training at the Avellan's Academy in Miami.

Talk about fine tuning, that school is elite, and puts out some awesome fighters.

UFC sucks big time, Pride fighters like Fedor Emelianenko and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira would destroy them all. Either way Kimbo would get destroyed

I dunno. I would be hard pressed to make any predictions on that fight. Tyson is not even a shaddow of the fighter he once was, but from what I understand he still hits like a freight train and he still knows how to block and move. But then again, Kimbo doesn't exactly hit like a girl himself. I honestly think it would be an interesting fight to see.

I know enough about the subject :winkwink: . First off, just to be clear, I was referring to the two of them fighting Barenuckle backyard boxing (nothing like mma). I have no idea what weight differences you are talking about, but I do know a little bit about Mike. Like the fact that at age 13 he already weighed 200lbs and could bench press a good deal more than his own weight... at age 13. The guy is not normal. Granted Tyson has retired from fighting so we would never get the chance to find out anyway. Just my :2 cents::)

I don't get it, you don't like Sapp but you like Kimbo, from what I've seen they fight very much the same, just brute force. That Kimbo isn't skilled at all as best shown against that fattie that beat him.

Personally I wouldn' fight kimbo, but I think most good MMA fighters around his size would beat him

MMA will always beat boxers and street fighters. Grapling and jujitsu are things boxers/street fighters are not prepared for.

I'm dissapointed that Hunt was exposed so badly, but it was bound to happen sooner or later. Barnett looked like the Barnett of old, overpowering huge guys that aren't used to be overpowered.

Nog didn't look as crisp or quick on his feet, probably due to the extra weight and muscle. He did look incredible on the ground though, constanstly reversing one of the best bjj artisans in the world.

I don't think so, he wouldn't messure up to most professional hevy weight boxer in regards to his punches. He's a big stong guy but nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to fighting

Kimbo would die, and quickly, against any NHB fighter good enough to make it to the UFC. I was going to put a friend of mine, a brown belt from Gracie Academy, up against Kimbo for 20k. Whatever happened with that Anthony?

Butterbean would slaughter Kimbo on thier feet, let alone a UFC fighter in a free-for-all. If you don't know that, you either haven't been paying attention or you're just clueless.

btw, I don't want to sound like I'm disrespecting Kimbo, just in case he's at the next convention ;) But what we're talking about here are dedicated professionals against a talented amateur who's just starting to learn the ground game. The pro is going to win 99.99% of the time.

It's the total package. The guy got a nice car, nice clothes on, nice diamond grid (or whatever it's called) on his teeth and hangs with gorgeous women. I'm sure he has a nice home and makes a good living.
