England were shite with Rooney playing. Have been shite all tournament, and deserved to go out. And it WAS a red card offence anyway. So why blame Ronaldo for all of this ???

Though to be honest I will never fully understand this way Scotland goes out the way not to support England. Yes, I understand the history but since the topic of this thread is not being able to take a beating and let it go ;) j/k it is just I wasn't born here, I am sure. I would cheer on Scotland or Wales if they were in something international and it wasn't against England so it is frustrating the other way.

Though I do agree that MPs from Scotland shouldn't be able to vote on England only issues in the Commons when they have their own gov't body now that excludes Welsh or English MPs for doing the same on issues only relating to Scotland.

It honestly wouldn't bother me what England did, if we didn't have to listen to all the shite that goes with it.

I don't go out and celebrate if Wales lose. It's just that England hype themselves up so much (and yes it is mostly the media to blame) that it does make it rather amusing when it all goes wrong.

Besides, Scotland & England will always be 'the auld enemy'...

well, England is the bigger media voice so of course you are going to hear it more. It is like the rest of England complaining the media covers London too much. Well, London is the financial, political and cultural capital of the country and on top of that the largest city. So, of course it is going to get the most attention.

Also, it doesn't feel like it flows both ways. I don't remember somebody being beaten up in a park for wearing a a Scotland shirt, for example.
