FRAUD? MediaBlast.tv just charged me $29.95

This company www.mediablast.tv just charged my visa $29.95 .. when I look at their website it seems like an obvious fraud site .. they have a few products with absolutely no info what so ever .. when you try to "buy" their stuff their credit card form (which is hosted local) loads forever when you press submit..

Anyone else?

Ever considered that I might used some random number for the test ;)

Well, they charged you because you wanted to. Why is this fraud?

eh??...

1) I see a $29.95 charge from this company on my VISA bill

2) I go to their website .. finding it "scammy" because there's almost no info about their products = why should people ever buy them

3) I try to buy a product using some random numbers in the form .. to see if their form is "real" or fake

xmas13 07-03-2006 05:22 AM

hmmmm

1) You were charged because you entered your CC and filled their form no? = you placed an order

2) if you thought the site was a scam, then why did you place an order, also what happened with the stuff you ordered? did you get? have you contacted the company?

3) you wanted to enter a random CC= fraud attempt

dont understand, maybe am dumb but i dont understand why you placed an order with your real CC if you didnt want to be charged.

xmas13 07-03-2006 05:24 AM

ok you only wanted test their CC form, entered your number, it worked and they charged. Its silly of you, doesnt make them a fraud company. what did you order?

xmas13 07-03-2006 05:25 AM

I only see products for $99 and $2.95

flashbang 07-03-2006 05:28 AM

read clearly people,
he seen a charge of 29.95 on his card, from this site.. so he inspected it
and found it to be suspiscious, so he then tried a fake card on it..

what that means I dunno, but anyhow hehe

wdforty 07-03-2006 06:27 AM

It does look like a pretty shady site..

Dont lie. You know you bought the nakid dixie chicks cartoon.

xmas13 07-03-2006 07:51 AM

Ok. Then how they got your CC? No clue?

Dispute the charge, it will be easy to win the chargeback dispute, and then prepare a nasty revenge :-)

Must be a fake business run by Russians, I came accross one once, they had no real client, they were using 2checkout, i called 2checkout and told them about the fraud, they have not done anything to close their merchant account.
