Ever get ringing in your ears?

Tininnitus, or something like that.

My right ear has a solid tone, high pitch, not too loud.

My left ear has three different tones, all high pitched, one kinda loud that starts and stops at random.

Annoying as hell.

My father suffers from the same thing, he now has it for live. It can be brought on by stress.

It's called tinnitus..

If you've recently been to a party or a consert or anywhere else where they play loud music you might get it.. Although if you don't usualy go to places like that and you did just once, it might disappear after a day or two..

Damn.. that's not good. Mine is usually very short term - like 10 - 15 minutes at a time, once or twice a month. Tonight it's been going on for like three hours. I'm gonna eat a valium and go to bed.

Tinnitus or TMJ are the 2 most likely... ENT Dr and a TMJ dentist/specialist if it keeps happening. Can even be migraines so it just depends on how bad its bothering you in how much to follow through with the docs... good luck! Dont let the fucked medical system process drag ya.

gooddomains 07-03-2006 02:42 AM

see a doctor, that's nothing to joke about

Yes... I meant dont let the fucked medical system drag you down with all the processes.... ENT with an ENG test should give you a good first start.

my gf was getting that and headaches.. she went to the doc and got an MRI and she had excess spinal fluid on her brain :helpme

they monitored it for a few weeks and it eventually drained on its own thank god.. otherwise thye have to drill in and relieve it.

I get it every so often that ringing in the ear
I just stick a finger in the ear with the loudest ringing and the ringing stops.

ixesha 07-03-2006 06:37 AM

Does it happen after listening to loud music? If so you might be hyper-sensitive to loud noises.
