never heard of those amps. I've always had Marshall amps till one of my now EX friends borrowed my Marshall Valvestate 8080 and I never got the fucking thing back. So, needless to say, I'm ampless. I would have bought a new one, but due to some financial shit going on I can't do that.

i know how you feel my first amp was this tiny little marchall mini stack... I was just learning to play at the time so it did the trick. I've been thru a few amps, fender, marshall, peavy, and crate. I don't have a line 6 currently but I've been playing on a friends at his place regularly and its a dream in every state. Not to mention the effects loop i the head is pretty versitile. I tend to play everything from muddy waters to slayer on the thing and its pretty robust. I've even mic'd my classical guitar up to it and play a some heitor villa lobos on it and it did "OK" but it was very tempermental about the volume, then again I'm not an experienced sound man lol.

that Line 6 Spider amp sounds pretty damn nice. I just checked out some sound samples from that amp.. Not to bad at all.
