I have to agree - I'm REALLY disappointed with Brazil's playing tonight

he-fox 07-01-2006 01:55 PM

I agree. My favourites, Brasil, played like 80yrs old grannies. I'm ashamed. They will be slaughtered back in Rio.

The Demon 07-01-2006 01:56 PM

As I've said throughout this whole tournament, Brazil has been a disgrace and an embarassment, regardless if they won over nobodys. Their superstar Ronaldinho hasn't shown ANYTHING, and they've just played soccer in the cocky "We don't have to try to win", attitude, and the got what they deserved. They remind me exactly of the Detroit Pistons of this year. On the other side, Zidane cemented his status as a legend, and definitely one of the top 5 greatest players ever. He outplayed BRazil by himself today and now I'm rooting for France to win it all.

ALLEZ LES BLEUS !!!

hova 07-01-2006 01:58 PM

Zidane was awesome, well deserved win for sure

Theo 07-01-2006 01:59 PM

brazilian players were taking the ball and running alone blindly,no team spirit, nothing, this happened in past days too,but with that way its only matter of time to lose a game.

Luc Lonely 07-01-2006 02:01 PM

I love it. good game .

Jer 07-01-2006 02:01 PM

I agree 101%.

ProducerCashDave 07-01-2006 02:01 PM

exactly. if ghana had better defense, they will be at home already.

Theo 07-01-2006 02:11 PM

This is primarily coach's fault for not preparing the team properly. He didn't invite Rivaldo due to his age regarldess he still is one of the best players in europe. I'm 100% sure on the last faul Ronaldinho executed, Rivaldo would never miss that.

damonx 07-01-2006 02:11 PM

Zidane played like a Brazilian :1orglaugh

Theo 07-01-2006 02:13 PM

anyhow, this is just a game, brazilians don't get too depressed tonight ;)

What?

Ronaldo played well.....

Ronaldinho has been anonymous all tournament and they changed their formation from the qualifying group to a more European style... Why? It didn't work!

France played well and deserved to win. The end!

Looking forward to Portugal vs France and Italy vs Germany. I fancy a France vs Germany final.

YellowDude 07-01-2006 03:30 PM

However I live in Brasil, we lost there we had no team.

France did it very well, congrats

Hope Zidane gets another championship before he retires

madawgz 07-01-2006 03:51 PM

i watched a bit of this game, takes longer to setup a play than football :1orglaugh

Big John 07-01-2006 04:02 PM

Oh well - I was wrong. I predicted a 2-1 win to France rather than 1-0. It was obvious to anyone with working eyes that Brazil were crap this year and far from 'classy' like so many on this board seemed to be shouting. They were never going to win the cup even had they made it past France.

Surely the Brazil/Ghana matched proved that to anyone bothering to watch it properly? Had Ghana the ability to actually get the ball in the net once they get it inside the penalty box Brazil would have been out the last round. As it was they ran rings around Brazil for most of the game but were simply totally unable to finish.

Mind you I also predicted England will go through but allow myself a bit of room on that as they forced a draw with only 10 men for most of the game. England are totally crap at penalties so were never going to win once it went to them.

Even so - amusing how everyone's tune changes from how 'classy' Brazil are to how badly they played. IMHO Brazil never were classy during this tornament. :2 cents: :2 cents:

BlueDesignStudios 07-01-2006 04:46 PM

I dont' know which of the remaining teams I should support now

bogo 07-01-2006 05:54 PM

2nd half was good..congrats to france..sweet goal.

american pervert 07-01-2006 06:04 PM

it was good to watch 2 teams thats weren't full of pussies pretending to be hurt all the time to slow the flow of the game.... i hate that shit

SL|M! 07-01-2006 08:20 PM

I didnt find Brazil impressive from the get go. France was the only tough team they met during the tourney. They really played like shit in this game, 1 shot on net!

Vitasoy 07-01-2006 08:22 PM

One shot on goal by Brazil.. pathetic. Sad to say

Spunky 07-01-2006 08:23 PM

That was a good game..good for France

Bansheelinks 07-01-2006 08:30 PM

Zidane! Zidane!

gandalfuy 07-01-2006 08:36 PM

nice game!
