what sense does it make to go all crazy and celebrate because "your" team has won a game?

what exactly is YOUR advantage of THEM winning a game (ppl who bet on games excepted) that would explain such a behaviour we see in every bigger town when "their" team wins?

isnt it kinda stupid to be happy and cheer if you dont have any advantage of that :error ??

and dont tell me you celebrate because youre proud of your country because if the only reason for being proud of your country is that they play soccer well, then well... thats pretty bad i would say.

Honestly half the reason I was so into Australia's performance was because every game I went into the city for was great. When we won, even if I partly agree with you, it was an excuse for a good party and the city went nuts! Great times.

maybe because they (the teams) have the country's pride??

I think that is one of things that is hard to put into words. It just comes from somewhere within.
