alternative to pennywize?
 

HI is there any other companies like pennywize? They are not responding to emails :-( So I need another protection solution..

iprotect - it's a better solution IMO. It's an apache module written in C, so it's fast.

Ovelo Sentry, www.ovelo.com has saved us tons. It's only $19.95 and doesn't require root like Pennywize.

Any system that pipes logfiles to a script sucks ass...
The idea is nice but with some decent traffic it's WAY too slow

modules are a better way to go...handle it during the http request
not afterwards
