just wondering, I have noticed a few racist comments on GFY just wondering how many people are actualy racist.

I am.. to a surtain extent.. I don't mind black guys or anything like that.. it's like, I have some racist thoughts.. dunno how to explain it.. it's basicly about peoples behaviour.. Of course I know, for example that not every gypsy steals stuff but I usualy draw a conclution before realy knowing.. Am I making any sense at all? ^^

its natural, although i see everyone as the same.

its instinct for me to be more wary of security if some asian or black guy comes near. i guess thats rascism.

i voted no, because i dont see myself as a real racist. Sure i have my thoughts about certain groups, mainly turks because i grew up around them and experienced violence behavior towards dutch people from them my entire youth, but i got a turkish collegue at college now who gets me free doner kebab all the time so hes cool. LOL

Its sad, but the most racist people I know are my black friends. Thats why i'm moving back to Puerto Rico where white, blonde hair and blue eyed guys are a minority.


Is it racist to feel that the terms like African American are bullshit? My parents were born in Germany, but I was born in the United States. People don't call me a German American. If you are born in the United States you are an American. Skin color means as little as eye color. Calling someone African American when they were born in the United States just seperates them for racism from them start. Fuck that term.

Nope, not even remotely racist, never have been. In fact, we moved from a county that IS very racist a few years ago because the kids at school were bringing this into my house..... my son came in and asked me why we had to hate brown kids, in the SECOND grade!!

I don't cross the road if I see a black man, I don't call my friends my black friends, asian friends or anything, they are all just my friends. I don't make judgements about anyone based on their race.

i hate the term african american, i am not racist, and all of my neighbors are black... I do admit somtimes i get pissed at my neighbors, but white people do stupid shit too, so if my neighbors were white id be pissed off just as much if not more haha

And that's exactly what it is, it is ignorance and it is TAUGHT..... I have always brought my kids up to judge by the person, not by the color, race, gender or anything else.

Ignorance is a form of coward to me, if you can't take the time to learn for yourself what's right and what's wrong without just taking someone's word for it, this is a coward's way out to me.

Believe it or not, I was taught to be a racist when I was younger, but somehow I came thru it without being one myself.. and I refuse to pass this ignorance and coward way to my kids. lol
