Noise cancelling headphone crap or not?
Gonna travel a bit couple of long flights and I saw a guy wearing these, checked saw $169 at the airport for alike ones (no bose), thought wtf ill buy them at home.
Big mistake, cant buy them here plus in Germany theyre like 500 :/ So : whats your 2 cents, I got earplugs nice already cause after 20ish hrs in a plane the noise wears you out, at least it does to me. thanks. http://cgi.ebay.com/Bose-Quiet-Comfo...QQcmdZViewItem |

I got some small phillips ones for a lot less than that a while back they are great for flying
you can find cheaper |
An ipod with Metallica works for me :thumbsup
|
Look on zzounds.com for some recording "isolation" headphones. They're not cheap though.

the bose ones are good, but you can get other good ones too for a lot less $$. I use the bose ones on planes and at home, i use $70 panasonic ones at work that are fine.

AMAZING sound quality. A friend in the audio biz told me they rivaled his studio headphones.
The best is on planes, they drown out engine noise. Spring for the Bose ;) |
I have the Bose - Worth it

I have Bose AHX that I use when I fly (as in pilot). I don't know if the regular ones are as good as these, but I'll never go back to a regular headset. I got mine for $1000, which is about $300 higher than a Clarke, but they're worth it.

Check out http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf. I've listened to a lot of headphones and none compare - even Bose.

They are amazing.
