Hell ya. I have banged so many chicks to them (also Tricky and Massive Attack: Mezzanine), every time I hear one of their songs I remember some chick riding my cock. Good times. :thumbsup

Mine too. I hope they bring the dark beats/melodic singing trend back from wherever it's been hiding. Since things go in cycles it might be time for that. It's been 12 years since Dummy was made.

Massive Attack & Tricky need to get their "A" game back and release something good and new as well.

Brandon99 06-30-2006 10:52 AM

Here's a couple links to those groups I mentioned:

Alias and Tarsier- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=glance&n=5174

Zero 7's The Garden is bad ass. Have you heard Radiohead-Climbing Up The Wall (Zero 7 Remix)? Dope shit.

I'll never forget the first time I heard them. I walked into a record store in Hoboken and was just mesmerized by how awesome it was.

I bought their CD and then when they came to Philly to play, I went to their show. This is around their first album, and they weren't very popular yet. They opened for Fiona Apple. Morcheeba was absolutely flawless. It was like a CD was being played, that's how tight they were.

Esthero's new CD is one of my favorites. I rememeber I heard Superheroes on her last CD in a Virgin Megastore and I told the clerk to ring it up immediately!

Zero 7 is probably my favorite band in the genre. I don't know about the new CD though. It's kinda uptempo. It might take a minute for me to get used to it.

Brujah 06-30-2006 12:08 PM

gonna be a trip-hop weekend, hook me up with a playlist guys

I agree. A masterpiece from beginning to end.

Maybe the best sex CD of all time. :2 cents:

I love threads about good music. This is one of those threads.

I listenened to Portishead & Massive Attack all the way to Dallas to see NIN play. Needless to say that the show was quite the change of atmosphere.

Now keep this thread growing, biatches. :)
