Monitor is going out - need the latest recommendations..
Using an NEC FP912 Diamondtron now. Happy with it. Yeah I have other monitors, but my main working monitor.
Thinking about wide screen and LCD of course. Not unhappy with that flat glass at all. Old mofo, slow to change. 1280x1024 is my typical setting for work. Interested in the most bang for the buck and why should I go for one over another. Been looking at Dells, mostly cause it's easy to order. There is always someone to bitch at and over the years at least I got what I paid for. NEC had the reputation of the day when I bought the monitor I have. Now I've fallen out of the market place sort to speak since I don't do much consulting these days and am not doing a lot of buying for clients. Any recommendations appreciated. |

I find 20" confortable, wondering if 24" would be too big? But that's for 3:4 aspect ratio.

Thinking about if I go 16:9 then it would have to be 24"
Q is to widescreen or not. What are the user moving too.... Prolly wide screen. |
Samsung I think make's the best LCD. Dell is good a cheap! sony is over priced crap.

I have a Dell 2405FPW (24" LCD) and a Dell 3007WFP (30" LCD). I like them both. I just tried to order the 2407FPW (24" Ultrasharp LCD) and they told me they were out of stock. Trying eBay now.
