Kinda a let down... it says that they blew away their estimates but didn't say what the registration numbers are at ... or what they were expecting.

When I talked to Kristen last week she told me they were expecting maybe 300, but had over 500 at the time.

What is kinda lame is no links to the site that handles the registration from the article?

The graphic for it on the page doesn't have a link to it either?

They haven't really grasped the concept of anchor text

It is the first show, but that has nothing to do with their grasp, or lack thereof, of the value of anchor text.

Well, guess I know who wrote the article . . . am guessing the same person that caused my earlier rant.

This show was promoted and marketed very professionally. I am not suprised that the numbers are so high. Online companies know how to take care of online.

As I told Kristen, I was surprised that they only anticipated 300 people showing up. They get close to that many at the various Giga bashes they throw spur of the moment at a club in Hollywood.

Man I was first in line to reg - I knew this thing would be off the hook! Huge props to Alec :thumbsup
