The Paris Hilton Sex Video, Copyright enforcement has been ASSIGNED to XPays, FYI

Hi,

"The Paris Hilton Sex Video", Copyright enforcement rights have been ASSIGNED to XPays Inc. within the terms of XPays' exclusive internet rights.

Of note, Special attention will be paid to infringers who claim to have 2257 info. Also, Those who bait and switch. And all other rights available to us to enforce that will stop you from stealing from the rightful owners and marketers of the copyrighted content.

http://HotelHeiress.com and http://TrustFundGirls.com

If a known program gets sued due to their infringement - do not come crying. We appreciate the continued partnership of all involved with the legal promotion of The Paris Hilton Sex Video.

HotelHeiress.com and TrustFundGirls.com are available to promote at http://XPays.com

Now, on a personal comment- In my opinion, if we enforce our internet rights as an industry- the vermon that you all clearly are aware of will have to find a new business. If Guba for example or any other "user submitted" site infringes- they should be taken to task. You solo site promoting webmasters know what I am talking about too. Your teaser tgp's and tours are no match for a community offering the member's area rips.

scottybuzz 06-29-2006 05:43 PM

i think it must sell, it must be the most viewed video on the net, and not all surfers know how p2p works and dont use boards.

then good on ya :) my self I stoped promoting it like a year ago so I dont really know how it does now days, all depends on how you target the surfer heh :)

XPays 06-30-2006 12:26 AM

Hi Nicky, the check runs are significant. We are not a huge company but we play one on t.v... anyway, the natural business cycle starts with a bang and then a plateau and so-on but we are dealing with the #1 selling content of the millenium. between the sales of the worldwide team, the video has staggering popularity. if you have paris hilton sex video traffic - you should send it to a legal destination with legal tactics and milk it for years. sell the dvd using the boxcover only or send to hotelheiress and trustfundgirls, but you should never leave money on the table imo. Maybe an infringer diluted it for you and you can expect improvement as we continue to disable fraudulant marketers who pick from a legal promoter like yourself- right out of your pocket of course..

all kidding aside, some companies are going to find themselves regretting the risk they took. at the end of the day, it is night. seriously, at the end of the day, whenever money is made illegally, said money eventually is lost back and then some. it is so much better longterm imho to just not fuck around with illegal images and video and empty promises there of which screw the end-user.

it's very simple - you want to see the stream online now- HotelHeiress. you want to see twisty's content- join twisty's, you want to see selenaspice- join selenaspice.. etc.. it makes no difference if your lead actress is Paris Hilton or not. content rights owners need to step up.

These are good and solid points, Evan, with all basis in truth. But the mantra feels a bit hollow to me without a more clearly defined "solution suggestion".

Opinions may differ, but I don't see it getting any easier to protect intellectual property rights on the Web. Inventive new models are flourishing, because they have recognized (and are explioting) opportunity in more "distributive" models. I am with you, but I don't believe the ultimate answer lay in regulating behavior and enforcing with the Law. What we need are INNOVATIONS... based partly in new technologies and partly in a willingness to depart from older (but admittedly, once Grande) revenue models. and it is the parties to THAT dialogue that are going to win -- :)

I would respond that the consitution and the law are what separates civilized and uncivilized, developed and undeveloped countries. Freedom cannot be expressed without a means protect it.

The u.s. constitution is one of the things that makes America a great place for business to transpire.

We do of course. Several infringers claimed to in conjunction with their marketing of infringing versions of The Paris Hilton Sex Video. That has been used in court btw in a case.

Again, Evan -- you misunderstand -- the IDEOLOGY IS FINE.

the good news is we will get to see what happens when an infringer makes that defense or includes that defense in conjunction with the "newsworthy" schpiel while they sell access to their paysite to see the video and giveaway our hardcore shots on their tour as well. so many infringers complied and some chose to try again every year or so or less. or way less. or not stop at all.....

one is a top advertiser here

that would be dvd piracy not internet. you cannot stream 1 night in paris online without infringing.

I also want to say that a patent [like this] is a slap in the face of Tim Berners-Lee and all of the other pioneers who created the opportunity that Amazon has done such a good job of exploiting. Amazon wouldn?t have existed without the generosity of people like Tim, who made legitimate, far-reaching inventions, and put them out into the public domain for all to build upon. Anyone who puts a small gloss on this fundamental technology, calls it proprietary, and then tries to keep others from building further on it, is a thief. The gift was given to all of us, and anyone who tries to make it their own is stealing our patrimony... more
