Does Anyone Here Even Watch Wimbledon ??
 

It's on our screens now almost as much as the World Cup. I watched 20mins of a guys match yesterday and was bored shitless.

In guys tennis, it's all about the serve. The ball hardly ever gets returned. Boooooringgggg !!!

Womens tennis is a bit better to watch (for obvious reasons), but the constant stupid grunting noises make me wanna throw something at the tv...

Conclusion = Tennis sucks... :disgust

I get into it sometimes but oddly more on the radio than on tv. This year though it is hard to be distracted from the football.

BBC radio does sport on the radio well. Plus, I grew up listening to baseball on the radio. It is all in how well it is described and the conversation that take place inbtween.

I watched a part of the Federer game yesterday but that's about it.

I only watch Wimbledon tennis but I do like it. The fun has gone this year though because Henman's out already (to be fucking expected though ... he's now ranked 66 in the world).

I miss the good old days of Agassi, Henman, and Sampras at the peak of their game. To really appreciate it, you have to be there. I have a friend who lives 5 mins away from the courts. It used to be amazing watching Sampras and Henman go at it. The entire crowd would be silently willing him to win every point ... palpable tension to say the least.

Soccer and Tennis suck watching on tv

I use to watch it with my Grandma before she passed away years ago ... I haven't watched it other than a game here or there. I've always liked it, but then again I can watch golf too.

I have on ocassion when i am in the bath listened to golf on the radio and it did make me take pause and wonder about my mental state.

I watch the tennis when there isnt any football on :)

I watch some of it, usually the finals only. I prefer the doubles matches. More interesting and more diverse.

Yes I've been watching since it began. I cant believe this girl was about to have beaten Venus Williams and now seems like she's choked big time.. I like the underdogs in a lot of matches.

I don't actually watch. I usually have sports on the TV while I'm working. So there's been a lot of tennis and World Cup lately along with the regular assortment of baseball games.
