Weird issues with dual monitors and icq
Anyone have a dual display setup and have an issue dragging your ICQ list over to the second display? I get mine to the edge and it won't budge further. It's a radeon x600, 256MB.
Thanks, JM |
Weird. I'm assuming that you've got the right hardware "splitter" for two monitors and that this doesn't happen with the other apps?

I think its a known problem :( I could never find a fix.

Mine are fine with trillian

Yeah very tech-nerdy I know :) |
It can only reside on the monitor with the task bar.
|
If it's a taskbar issue, you could try UltraMon, it puts a task bar on your second monitor.

You don't need a taskbar on the 2nd monitor, though. You can just set ultramon to open icq in the 2nd monitor and voila, it's on your far right on the right monitor instead of on the left monitor. Or the other way around depending on what setup you have :) |
it works great for me....
|
mine works without a problem
|
Get an Nvidia card and use horizontal span end if issues. :thumbsup

thanks all for the input, chupa i tried, but i'm beat to hell man and there's so many damned values for "icq" lol. Thanks for the info though maybe later i'll mess around and see if i can find it. :) very strange problem indeed. and if photoshop is opened up in the same screen as icq, icq takes it's space away from photoshop. straaaaaaaaaaange. didn't have this issue with my nvidia.
