WTF with Google AdSense?
 

Just started using AdSense on one of my more popular mainstream sites. I go and look at the ads, now why the fuck is it displaying ads with that word all over? I thought Lolita was a CP word...

Maybe thats it. The ads all seem to have a Gothic bent to them, so perhaps it was a Gothic book?

I'd hate to think that google was promoting CP and moreover that google somehow thought my site was "contextually relevent" to CP.

Maybe other sites linking to yours aren't too picky with what terms they plaster THEIR sites with..?

I mean, if many such sites link to yours.. it's definitely at least noted by Google's
algorithms. I think it "rubs off" on your site... And that rubs off on AdSense.

So research who's linking to You, my guess is that your answer lies there..

Thats pretty fucked up if you ask me.. many adult sponsors wont even accept you with lolita keywords on your page..

Just a word if you ask me. The reason the adult industry has to be careful about it is because it was abused, by a small part of the adult industry.

they are all just words , but do you think it would be appropriate for google to let jewish people buy muslim keywords and just place "words" like MUSLIMS ARE CHILD MOLESTERS in the ads.. ?

The ads supposedly get hand reviewed , they are more than capable of using some ethics.. its undertstandable that a search engine doesnt flat out BAN the word lolita , but not so easy to understand why google wouldnt ban it on its adsense..

call up your local newspaper and ask if you can run an advertisement for gothic jewerly entintled GOTHIC LOLITAS.. i dont think you would get to far... , if ytou wrote an article about gothics , and mentioned the word lolita , thats a bit more understandable but not this..

you have to get words like that approved by submitting the special request when the auto form denies it, but it is possible..

i've seen the word used on tv, movies, etc, the word's only a bad word in the adult industry.

google does whatever earns money
