What do you do on a daily to get the competitive edge?

I am finding that consistant focus along with writing down my goals at night

for the next day gives me the juice. I am on my 4th day of Anthony Robbins

and man does he get you fired up for the day. I got the one week coach:thumbsup

Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healty, wealthy and wise. :thumbsup

Seriously. The best thing I have found is to get decent sleep. That way I have an advantage over everyone else because I'm awake and the rest of the world is in trance. :D

The second thing I do is to do an hour of work right after I get up. Pick the most important work you have to do and do it then. You feel like a king before you even had breakfast.

Prioritize your work and outsource!

Then just work like hell all day. :thumbsup

Also: pick one day per week when you do absolutely nothing. It doesn't have to be sunday. God is dead, you know. :)

good thread BT. Nice to see some substance on GFY once in a while lol. I'm definately down with putting the next day's objectives in writing, keeps you on your toes. Any other good stuff you can share from TonY?

BT 06-28-2006 04:48 AM

No doubt!! Challange yourself

breaker 06-28-2006 04:58 AM

I'm trying to change my sleeping pattern abit.

To bed before 0:00 and up working before 08:00 that gives me best productivity. The older i've got, earlier i have to get to bed to get a productive day after.

scottybuzz 06-28-2006 05:29 AM

Yeah, I rub out a fast one with my right hand and shift quickly to the left without missing a beat.

rants 06-28-2006 05:40 AM

Think about money and how much more I need/want/desire... and listen to music to pump me up...

DamageX 06-28-2006 05:43 AM

Nothing. Just sit back and watch other morons fail, easy to be competitive over them.

Read a book from a great acheiver.
I don't need to motivate myself to get shit done on the daily, I just do it best as I could nowdays.

A Robbins Rocks.

I find by getting out of bed by 5:30am and going for a 4km walk and then coming abck to have a healthy breakfast and read over my to do list whilst i am eating breakfast.

Then towards the end of the day i will go and have a one hour work out with my personal trainer.

Diet is very important, eating non processed foods is the key.

I have not had a coffee for 9 months now.

I have a wife and 2 kids with a 3rd on the way. That's all I need.

Kimo 06-28-2006 08:14 AM

i live in the 'projects' thats all the motovation I need

as for what I actually do well... I try to read and learn as much as I can, and find new trades, and network a bit. Really right now its all about putting up a bunch of new sites and then working out a schedule for working on them and shit. For me there is not enough time in the day, lol.

A little hint for you: Keep a window open while you sleep. The fresh air at night cuts your sleep time by an hour. If you have problems getting up in the morning while maintaining a rather constant sleeping pattern (that means: you don't switch shifts), there is just one simple reason for that:

You go to bed too late.

The rule here is:

Anyone can get up at six if he goes to bed at eight. (This is sleeping late upside down :1orglaugh )

Just figure out how much sleep you need and try to get it by going to bed early enough. :thumbsup

blazi 06-28-2006 09:00 AM

I try to sleep no more than 6 hours a day, otherwise I feel my life is waisting away, I'm up early eat a healthy breakfast with vitamin, I don't smoke or drink so that helps too, I dunno, I just do what I do and it seems to be working :)

Fetish Gimp 06-28-2006 09:03 AM
