Any tech-gurus here have any idea how to RESET a D-Link wireless router?
I mean completely reset it, I can't remember how to get into the configuration area of it and I can't log any wireless machines to it because I forgot the password :/
Anynone know if there is any way at all to hard-reset one? Thanks, Bill |
try unplugging it

Hold the tiny pin-sized reset button on the back down for 30 seconds.

Heh, ok it must have reset itself, because now it's asking for a username and password when I put in the IP thingy.
Now I guess I have to find the user/pass it came out of the box with so I can get in and configure the little bitch. May be a long night...lol |

BD, it's a wireless router, not the actual modem. Now, on a side note, don't think I didn't sit there for a few minutes trying that to see if it would work...haha |
it'll be login: admin pass: (blank) or admin/admin
|
unplug it, put it on your floor, jump up and down on it, then go to Best Buy and get a netgear.

You guys all rock, everything finally works again!!!!!!!!!!
The power of GFY, amazing! Thanks again guys! Bill |
