You would think a sport cabriolet fitted with a 5.4-liter V-8 making 362 horsepower would be enough. But no. In these wonderfully hedonistic, power-crazed days, we?re witnessing a horsepower race that makes the muscle-car battles of the 1960s look as tame as waging war with bows and arrows rather than Hellfire missiles. So, the Mercedes-Benz CLK has now emerged with a mighty 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 475 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The rival BMW M3 musters a mere 333 horsepower.

I looked at one of those. They screwed up by putting so much of the "car" so close to the ground. There's no way I could even make it down my driveway w/o bottoming out, let alone go offroading.

I ended up with the Limited 4X4 Hemi. Do you find yourself having issues with the SRT's low profile?

only ONE good looking Mercedez these days ... SL500 ... hands down... every other Merc (inc the Mclaren) looks fucking ugly.

if that is line or reasoning, then the sl55, sl600 sl65 are also all good looking.

I don't really like mercedes but the CLK is nice.

The new 997TT is going to make a lot of cars that sell for a lot more than the Porsche look real bad on the track.From what I am hearing the CGT is just a tick faster than the TT for 1/3 the $$.
