Should Gambling Be Banned Online?

these days its wayyy too easy to gamble and lose your shirt in a second...

they should make it so that if you feel the need to gamble, you have to leave your house and go to an actual casino IN REAL LIFE.

your thoughts?

nofx 06-27-2006 08:28 PM

it cant be "banned" from the internet

lol tard

nofx 06-27-2006 08:29 PM

its already illegal in the US but I bet you 80% of casino traffic is US

GTS Mark 06-27-2006 08:29 PM

As long as the players are adults the government should keep its hands off.......

BIGTYMER 06-27-2006 08:34 PM

Hell no. I can't live without my PokerRoom.com

pornstar2pac 06-27-2006 08:35 PM

it never will be. the US should make it legal so they can tax it. all US gambling money is going elsewhere

blazi 06-27-2006 08:35 PM

I have to disagree, gambling should be allowed both online or offline, it's a personal choice we all make, it's what we call 'freedom of choice'... u win some u lose some, just the way she goes!!

GatorB 06-27-2006 08:36 PM

It's already illegal dumbass. If the casinos were smart they'd be supporting online gambling instead of fighting it. They are where the music companies were 8 years ago.

BusterBunny 06-27-2006 08:38 PM

i totally agree.....don't click my sig please.....

E$_manager 06-27-2006 08:44 PM

may be you are right. It is easier to gamble sitting on your chair then go ing somewhere.
Do you think bets on WC ia gambling? I think i am loosing a friend

Relish XXX 06-27-2006 08:49 PM

The US poker money is going straight to the UK...well 4 people in the UK through Party Poker.

notabook 06-27-2006 08:51 PM

No it should not be banned, but rather regulated in such a way to make sure that the 'odds' of winning are acceptable (though who decides that? Jesus? A little marshmallow filled donut named Timothy Rae Field?) and not 'fixed' to a certain degree. I'm all about personal freedoms, even if that means you can fuck up your life in the process. That's why all of these god damn restricting laws such as the pro-seatbelt laws are for the birds... birds with BIRDFLU. There is nothing more I hate in life (other than books, cats, and hypocrites) than being FORCED to wear a fucking seatbelt. If your old enough to fuck, drink, and go off and die fighting for oil for your country, you should be allowed to make a personal choice such as WEARING A SEATBELT, and whether or not to gamble over the fucking internet, or to buy your prescription drugs from Canada. Fuck you George Bush. Fuck you.

...wait, what was the question again?

Vitasoy 06-27-2006 09:39 PM

No, too hard to leave money on the table

trying to ban gambling from the net is like trying to stop people from downloading movies and mp3s, just won't happen
