Got an email from an affiliate today that wanted to be removed from our mailing because they didnt promote our sites anymore. and at the end they said they have cancer.

why throw that in? shitty

I wished them the best of luck and removed them from the list.

Why even bring this to the boards? Why did he throw that in the email you ask? He's probably out of his mind, and rightfully so.

I love GFY. Not only can you find some great sponsors here, you can also cross out the shitty ones.

Remove them from the list and move on.

adding that to the end is either his reason for removing from the list, or he just wanted to throw that in.

Poor guy. Maybe you are the only person in the world he has to tell -- :(

personally, i agree with tanker

it was unnecessary to include that tidbit of information.

reminds me of people that tell telemarketers the same thing just to make them feel guilty for calling.

all the person really needed to say was

'please remove my address'

wonder if the affiliate was a surfer and his wife or mom got the email.

how was the traffic on that account?

anyways,
bummer if one of your (now ex) affiliates is dying of cancer.
