I just checked a mainstream board which is supposely smaller than gfy yet is 155 in alexa.

And what is the growth starting mid april ? I'm seeing it on the other board also.

We are all using alexa toolbars that's why the rank is boosted. Not to take away anything from GFY, but I doubt it has 600k uniques visitors a day...

Checked a couple of my sites. Has 'em about half what they really are.

Alexa has gone both way on my sites over time. On the otherhand, It's not like I'm that big that you would expect accurate tracking....

Notice a big variation in backlinks between Google, Yahoo etc.

Statsbrain.com seems WAY off it says Ifilm.com gets 665 hits a day when MTV bought the site for $41 million a few months ago. The site has 600,000+ hits a day
