Go to my computer
So I'm teaching my wife HTML and web pages and stuff. Our home office has two work stations, mine and hers. We were on her computer and I'm trying to tell her where to go on her computer. I say "go to my computer" - and she gets up, walks over to my computer, and sits down.
Damn non computer folk. |
That was highly amusing. :)

Back when I was working tech support
Me: "OK, double click on my computer" Retard: "Now how in the hell am I supposed to do that, I dont even know what state you're in." |
:1orglaugh anybody who doesnt know computers well would do the same thing.

there are a series of ads for an local employment agency right now that are just like that it is good stuff....
|
LOL! Just had a similar situation with my girlfriend tonight.. she (for god knows what reason) tried to setup her new wireless router by herself tonight. I tried relentlessly to get her to the DOS prompt to use the Windows ipconfig app, but finally gave up.
My patience as a tech support guy would be slim to none because the computer skills I have gained are now second-nature to me - explaining directions to a computer-illiterate is physically painful. |
thats too funny I highly recommend www.vtc.com
|
get the noobies out of here
|
i did tech support at a college for a while......I feel your pain....
caller: "My computer won't turn on! I can't see anything! it just sits there!" me: "Is the monitor on?" caller: "............." caller: *CLICK* |
