well to be ohnest, i think he just went over the player and lost if footing. he didnt jump and lunge at all.

that was a penalty!! no doubt about it (the referee called it so it was a penalty!)

there should be some system where say fifa investigate diving and if its obviouos the player has dived some penalty or fine or something should be enforced.

it was not a dive.The Aussie player threw himself down infront of the player.Thats just as bad as tripping with your feet.It was a good call.

Kudos to Australia but justice is served as Hiddink cost them the match...the Aussies did virtually nothing to take advantage of the man advantage & most of that is Gus's fault for not bringing on another forward earlier & pressing the issue.

No wonder soccer (football) in Australia will always be considered a sooks game. That penalty stopped any growth in the sport here in OZ and and the rest of the developing soccer nations.

My son played soccer early and it was too sooky then and it hasn't changed. You have all these fucking sooks running around trying to milk a penalty off halfwitted referees to win a game.

Make the goal posts 50% wider, get scores like 10/8 and this way it will finally make a sooks game more exciting and one sooks attempt at getting a penalty shouldn't have a big bearing on the game.

It's perfect irony...Italy is hit with a bad call in 2002 and the trolls come out to say we have no right to complain...four years later Italy is the benefactor of a bad call and the trolls all come out to complain.

i am wondering why none of these suckers were complaining when 4 years ago Italy played with 10 men, one goal was not validated and the ref. did everything to make Italy lose.

Where were those Football experts 4 years ago? Where were thay when Today's Ref. gave Materazzi a RED card cuase he kicked another italian and the Aussie player fell on him?
