RIP Stationary Bike
 

So I bought this stationary bike late last year, you know just one of those home type bikes with 8 different resistance settings, fairly simple.

Today I put the 3980th Kilometer on it and it promptly seized. Think I should go back to the store and look at the surprised look on their face when I ask for warranty? "Ummm sir, this is meant for a housewife to use twice a week for 15 minutes.".

after 4000 km it just gave up? That's shitty

This is what I use at the gym... you can buy them for about 700 bucks new

Dude, I live in the Central Valley of Costa Rica.

1) We have no fresh air here
2) Bikers = minced meat on the road.

I got rid of my bike when I bought an elliptical trainer... much better workout in my opinion... but its a little expensive for a good machine

Get with it, this is the third millenium! Get a stationary car instead.

Those at least come with 1 year possible 2 year warranty

Take it back and see what they will do for you! Why not, maybe you'll get a discount on another one at the very least?
