I get rejected 3 times outta like 6 galleries for images not matching the video.. and today I get a warning that I am about to be banned.

I am off by like a few frames or some shit.. get a fucking life.

cashing in on submit passes and declining any gallery possible, what a waste of money.

sure.. I grabbed the stills first and than I went and cut the clips, watch the videos, I am not off by much.. on 1 clip. same shit with the others.

now I make galleries where I grab high quality pictures and the video is not the exact same.. I don't submit these to him.

you want the traffic...you play by their rules... for the most part its not like they keep the rules hidden. They are clearly posted an like everything else in this industry "subject to sitowners approval":)

if u use final cut pro... or any other prog, just export the vid as an image sequence, and set it to how many frames per secs u want. It'll save u time. Than just find the pic that matches the start of that video.
It's been done for centuries, my grandpa, and my greatgrandpa, and his great grandpa, they all did it.

still very anal and pathetic, give me a break.. 98% of ppl wouldnt even realize that the image was different than the video..

anyways.. his rules.. just stating the fact here.. that he is extremly picky with his rules, if your going to buy a pass there.

actually back in the day, I got listed all the time, probably cause you and I were a mod at that other board that he visited because mike is a good friend of his.. but I guess his approvers are ultra anal now, no respect for anyone..

I've surfed around and have seen many galleries with thumbs not existing in the clips. Those SUCK. You might as well have a thumb of a black chick linking to a large image of an asian chick.

on the bright side thou.. of the galleries I gotten approved I made my money back, so don't get me wrong, his site is worth it.

I can totally understand this rule. You should see the thumbnail image at some point in the clips. Being off by even a few frames will piss off loyal surfers and send them away.

I got declined on a daily basis from woldporn/al4a for having too many links to sponsors... (I had 2 total) one on the top, one on the bottom

Yeah true, think of the surfer. You need that content to sell them a membership, so it's in everyones best interest to be sure the image is in the clip :)
