Why don?t people smile more?
 

Walking through the streets, everybody looks like somebody died. Why aren?t more people smiling? Kind of strange!

I smile at every cute girl I see. :)

Life isn't what it use to be, nothing to smile about, death is up, jobs are down, rent is up, income is down.. plus my teeth are shit.

Yeah I heard no one smiles in the UK. That must really suck.

I never smile because I'm usually always in a bad mood. There's not much to smile about.

I would actually think it's weird IF people smile all the time. It's like wtf are you smiling at? :helpme Overly happy people irritate me.

I don't necessarily smile because I'm happy. Sometimes I do it to show positive disposition to other people. A smile can help in many situations.

Quite frankly, if I saw someone on the street walking by themself, laughing or smiling, I'd probably cross the street.

If they were walking WITH someone, then I'm betting more often than not, one or both of them would be smiling...unless they're discussing business.

Think about how often you're sitting by yourself doing absolutely nothing (the equivalent of walking down the street) and just smiling or laughing. Without some form of activity or communication going on, be it a discussion, reading or watching TV, I'd question why the hell someone had a smile on their face for no apparent reason.

I smile most of the time... if I pass somebody on the street I usually say hello or smile, I love my neighborhood... people usually smile back!

I think it just looks funny if people are walking down the street smiling for no reason...kinda creepy. Lol But now that I think of it, I'm sure it's just as creepy to be walking down the street and have everyone look like they're gunna kill someone. Lol

because many people are miserable & insecure. according to them, they have nothing to smile about. i guess the fact that they are alive is not enough these days.
