This doesn't happen very often, but you were even hotter then us down here in Palm Springs (111F).

Atlanta , his company sent him to that area for a week to do some business. He told me how hot it was.

Jesus, it's tipped 44 here in Perth, Australia, but 47.2 is just insane. When it's that hot, it's kinda weird. You go outside in to it and it just takes your breath away. Last time we had a heatwave here there were blackouts from the people going nuts with their Aircon.

a few more days of heat and I'm gonna die

bleh... dry heat... come to houston for a summer and experience some major humidity, it sucks.

We get hot here in Phoenix but, it started in way early this year. I don't think we have hit 117 yet but, we are consistantly in the triple digits.
