I to church (almost) every sunday, it's a bit part of my life.

Of course every thread loosely related to religion on this board is trolled by people who have no respect for other's beliefs.

I feel ya on that. Good for anyone that wants to go though, I just know it's not for me... at least at this point in life. Interesting to see how people make different decisions as they get closer to their demise or get into serious trouble. They start to think about all of the bad shit they did and look for ways to make up for it, instead of not doing bad shit to begin with :upsidedow

My wife describes it as 'just another old fart trying to get in to heaven' whenever she sees someone older doing something unexpectedly nice.

I'm not against someone wanting to go to church - if it makes them feel better...all the power to them. Just as long as it doesn't interfere with my life, affairs and beliefs (I'm slipped from agnostic to total atheism these past few years).

I don't have a problem with anyone else's beliefs, whether or not I agree with them. It's having them look down on, or force their beliefs on others that I have a problem with.

I'm an athiest, but if others can benefit from having religion in their lives, so be it. Just don't tell me how much better you are, or that I'm a sinner because I don't believe in god.
